What I Wore Wednesday, Or What I Wore One Wednesday

It's time for yet another hookup with Lindsey at the Pleated Poppy for What I Wore Wednesday. And, yes, you read that title right. One day (maybe a Wednesday, maybe not) I changed my clothes no less than 4 times. This is what it means to be a mom in today's world. I laughed every time I changed my clothes, because I'm always griping about laundry but apparently it's me who has the problem. Ha.
The Day of Four Costume Changes:
Outfit 1: Teaching art at the school
Sweater: Thrift Store
Green Petal pusher: The Pleated Poppy
Navy cords: Thrift store
green shoes: Payless
White ruffly shirt: TJMaxx

Outfit 2: Running errands later

Belt: Thrift store $1.00!
Pants: Aeropostale
Shoes: Polo from TJMaxx

Outfit 3: Exercising while Maggie is at ballet and then cleaning because I'm all sweaty anyway:

What I Wore Wednesday, Three Weeks Later!

Apparently I've been way too busy not spending money and reading The White Queen by Phillippa Gregory to chronicle my wardrobe lately. But I have some pictures of some beauties that are in rotation now:

This looks so much better on than in the photo. SO MUCH BETTER! It looks too small and the pants look too short, but it's actually darling because the pants are wide and the shirt is tight and it's a cute silhouette. Whatever. I bought this shirt at Education Week just to rebel from the frugality I was surrounded by. And it was on sale at the BYU Bookstore...

Pink bow shirt and chocolate brown camisole: Down East

Pants: Thrift store (hemmed by the lovely Aimee)

Shoes: Target

Churching

Black shiny tshirt and camisole: DownEast

Skirt: Thrift store (I saw one similar in the Boden catalog yesterday, only $88! Ha.)

Shoes: TJMaxx

Necklace: Claire's

Watchband: Handmade by Diane

I wear this at least once a week.

White flower shirt and white camisole: DownEast

Jeans: Old Navy

Shoes: Dansko

Necklace: Thrift store

I'm so glad I can retire this stupid shirt for the summer. I think it's the puffy sleeves that kill me. And I lost 7 pounds when I quit drinking Coke *hooray, but boo* so the pants look weird.

Shirt: DownEast

Pants: Big Star

Shoes: Payless

Watchband: Handmade by Diane

Ha ha, everything I'm wearing except my underwear and my shoes is from DownEast. But the necklace is from the Pleated Poppy.

Thanks for joining me in a little giggle at Margo's outfits. Sometimes it's great, sometimes, well, tomorrow's another day. Fiddledeedee.

What I wore Wednesday 4

Last week I could have taken out the Blogger headquarters with a huge bazooka, since I couldn't upload a single picture to either of my blogs all week. (That sounded extreme. Maybe I've been listening to my husband play Call of Duty a little too much.) At any rate, I have a few extra pictures this week. It would seem that I should have 14 pictures, but seeing as how I wore some of these EXACT outfits once last week and once this week, it really doesn't matter! And I love how I'm so important that I can't bothered to wipe down a mirror streaked with who-knows-what or even comb my hair or put on makeup before I take my picture. I'm just saying.

Sometimes you get the fashion just right and sometimes you realize you bought stupid pants just because the butt was cute and they don't fit your body at all. (See Saturday's entry.) I'm here to tell you it's not the easiest thing in the world to be 5'2" and have the world's shortest legs. I mean, I could be a circus act with those things.

What I Wore Wednesday: Chapter 2 (but really it's Thursday...)

Sorry about being a day late and several dollars short! I have been looking forward to this all week and I totally spaced posting for What I Wore Wednesday hosted by the Pleated Poppy because I was at a wedding all day on Wednesday. A Wedding on Wednesday, doesn't that sound like a great movie title?

Friday: hanging out wishing I had a babysitter
yellow silk-lined t-shirt: DownEast
gray tank/bra thing: WalMart
cutoffs: old Big Star jeans I bought at, you guessed it, DownEast
I truly don't think I wore shoes all day today.

Saturday: cleaning and laundry day
lilac half sleeve t-shirt: DownEast
gray bra/tank: WalMart *I did wash it*
olive capris: WalMart

Sunday: church and primary jobs
pink cardigan: DownEast

What I Wore Wednesday: Chapter 1

Oh my heck. I am resurrecting this little blog for maybe the vainest of reasons: I want to link up to Lindsey's What I Wore Wednesday party over at the Pleated Poppy. I've been meaning to do it for a while now so that I can feel accountable for my fashion. I'll either feel great about my cute outfits or be mortified that I ever posted them. Let's hope for the former.

So the deal is, you take a picture of what you wore every day during the week and tell where you got it in case anyone is dying to get one of those very same items. It's really made me attempt to be cute at least a few days of the week so I can take a picture of myself. (ha) And it also made me buy a $5 mirror from WalMart so I can see my entire self. Who doesn't have a full-length mirror? I don't. Well, now I do. Enjoy!
